The Future of The Examined Life Journal

The Examined Life Journal has been on hiatus while reorganizing staff and production methods. With the overwhelming response to our most recent calls, we have had to add readers. In response to this, as has happened with other literary journals, production costs have increased. Because we are committed to producing a high-quality, hand-held, print journal, we have decided to move from our previous two-issues-per-year production schedule and publish one issue per year. In addition, to defray increased production costs, we will be charging a small administration fee for submissions.  Current subscribers will have their subscriptions extended to assure that they will receive the issues they were promised.

If there are questions or comments, send these to  bruce-brown@uiowa.edu.

Sincerely,

The Examined Life Journal Staff
